Chocolate Pretzel Spiderwebs Recipe

Chocolate Pretzel Spiderwebs are a fun Halloween dessert you can make with the kids with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Bright White Candy Melts or melted white or dark chocolate
  • Reese's Pieces
  • Wilton Tip #5 and piping bag or a small zipper sandwich bag with the a tiny hole cut off to one side
  • Black jimmie sprinkles

Instructions

  • Place parchment paper on baking sheet.
Using 8 pretzel sticks, place them on your baking sheet, grouping them together to form a circle with one end of each pretzel touching each other in the center.
Melt white candy melts according to directions.
Pour into pastry bag using tip #5.
Start from the center of one of the spider pretzels and squeeze the melted chocolate out slowly to form a small circle in the center (this will help in holding the web together and place for one spider) and then in a spiral pattern, continue until close to the edge of the pretzels sticks.
Place 3 pieces of Reese's Pieces on each web in various spots, including 1 in the center. The candy melts do dry fairly quickly so place your Reese's Pieces spider in the middle first and add its 8 legs, 4 on each side, using black jimmies sprinkles.
Place 2 other candy pieces on various spots on the web, on a part of the pretzel stick. Add 4 of the black sprinkles to each spider, 2 on each side. You may have to dip the end of the sprinkle into the white chocolate to get it to stick to the spider and just in case the chocolate has hardened.
Let the chocolate webs dry for about an hour before removing from parchment paper. You could also place them in the refrigerator for about an hour to speed up the hardening process.
Serve after white chocolate has hardened or store in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
