Cat Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package of premade pizza dough (enough for one pizza)
  • Pizza sauce (about ½ cup)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (1-1½ cups)
  • 1 black olives (cut into slices for the eyes)
  • 1 black olive (for the nose, cut into a triangle shape)
  • Red bell pepper (for the mouth, whiskers, and inner ears)
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper (optional, for easy cleanup)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Pizza Dough
    Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your pizza dough packaging. Roll out the premade pizza dough out on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cut the dough into a cat face shape, and remove the excess dough.
  2. Add the Pizza Sauce
    Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving the edges clear for a crust. Make sure to cover the dough evenly.
  3. Add the Mozzarella Cheese
    Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese all over the pizza, making sure to cover the entire surface. This will give your pizza that perfect cheesy goodness that everyone loves.
  4. Create the Cat’s Face
    For the eyes, cut a black olives into slices and place two slices on the pizza to form the eyes. Then, slice another olive into a small triangle shape for the nose, and place it just below the eyes.
    For the mouth and whiskers, slice red bell pepper into thin strips and arrange them into the cat’s mouth and whiskers. You can make a cute little mouth shape at the bottom center of the pizza and then arrange the bell pepper strips on each side for the whiskers.
    Finally, cut a small piece of red bell pepper into triangles and place them inside the ears to give them that adorable inner ear detail.
  5. Bake the Cat Pizza
    Place the pizza in the oven and bake according to the instructions on the pizza dough packaging (usually 10-15 minutes) or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Keep an eye on it as it bakes to make sure the crust doesn’t get too crispy.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
    Once the pizza is out of the oven, let it cool for a minute or two before slicing. Serve your adorable cat-shaped pizza and watch everyone’s faces light up with joy!
