Banana Boat S'mores

Banana Boat S'mores are the perfect campfire treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana (with peel on)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Aluminum foil

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Prep the foilTear off a piece of aluminum foil large enough to completely wrap the banana. Lay your unpeeled banana right in the middle.
  2. Carefully slice the banana lengthwise along the inside curve. Cut through the top peel and the fruit, but leave the bottom peel intact so it holds everything together. Gently pull the opening apart and pack the inside with your marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  3. Crush up a graham cracker and sprinkle the crumbs heavily over the top of the chocolate and marshmallows. Your banana boat is now fully loaded and ready to cook.
  4. Bring the sides of the foil up and crimp them together to make a sealed packet. This keeps the melting gooeyness contained and prevents a mess in your air fryer.
  5. Place the foil packet directly into your air fryer basket. Temperature: 400°F (Note: Check on it at the 5-minute mark. You want the marshmallows puffed and the chocolate melted.)
  6. Use tongs to pull the foil packet out, as it will be very hot. Give it a minute or two to cool down, unwrap the foil, grab a spoon, and eat it straight out of the peel.
