Craving s'mores but don't have a campfire? Try this easy air fryer banana boat hack! Get perfectly portioned, gooey marshmallow and chocolate in minutes.
Skip the fire pit and the sticky hands in the dark. If you want s'mores without the hassle of building a fire, this air fryer banana boat is the easiest way to get your fix indoors.
Using a banana as the base gives you a built-in, perfectly portioned bowl. It caramelizes in the heat and tastes great with classic s'mores toppings. Here’s how to make it in just a few minutes with practically zero cleanup.

Banana Boat S'mores - Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana (keep the peel on)
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- Crushed graham crackers
- Aluminum foil
- Air Fryer
How to Make It
1. Prep the foil Tear off a piece of aluminum foil large enough to completely wrap the banana. Lay your unpeeled banana right in the middle.

2. Slice and stuff Carefully slice the banana lengthwise along the inside curve. Cut through the top peel and the fruit, but leave the bottom peel intact so it holds everything together. Gently pull the opening apart and pack the inside with your marshmallows and chocolate chips.

3. Add the crunch Crush up a graham cracker and sprinkle the crumbs heavily over the top of the chocolate and marshmallows. Your banana boat is now fully loaded and ready to cook.
4. Wrap it up Bring the sides of the foil up and crimp them together to make a sealed packet. This keeps the melting gooeyness contained and prevents a mess in your air fryer.

5. Air fry Place the foil packet directly into your air fryer basket.
- Temperature: 400°F
- Time: 5–7 minutes (Note: Check on it at the 5-minute mark. You want the marshmallows puffed and the chocolate melted.)

6. Dig in Use tongs to pull the foil packet out, as it will be very hot. Give it a minute or two to cool down, unwrap the foil, grab a spoon, and eat it straight out of the peel.
Final Thoughts
These tasty banana smore's are an easy, low-mess dessert that hits the spot when you want a quick treat that will remind you of being by the campfire. Enjoy!
