Witch Cupcakes

These witch cupcakes are such a fun Halloween treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix
  • Neon green, gray, and purple buttercream frosting 
  • Hershey’s kisses
  • Oreo cookies, cream filling removed, 1 cookie for each cupcake
  • Neon green sprinkles including pearls
  • White pearl sprinkles
  • Themed sprinkles, for hat, optional

Method
 

  1. Bake cupcakes per recipe and cool completely
  2. To make the witch hat use the purple frosting to attach the kiss to the middle of the clean side of the cookie then pipe dots of frosting around the base of the kiss
  3. Attach a themed sprinkle if using, set hats aside
  4. Use the gray frosting to pipe a smooth flat swirl as the base on each cupcake
  5. Use the green frosting to create the witches brew by piping over the gray
  6. Add the green sprinkles on the green frosting
  7. Place the witch hat on one side of the cupcake
