How do you make Ramen Lasagna?
The process couldn’t be easier and is definitely more simple than making lasagna from scratch! Take two flats of your favorite ramen noodles and add tomato sauce and cheese in between. Bake until bubbly and hte noodles are cooked (they will cook from the sauce and steam produced in the oven). Garnish with parsley for flair although that’s an extra step we won’t fault you for not doing when rushed for dinnertime.
This lasagna hack couldn’t be simpler for getting dinner on the table pronto!
What can you add to lasagna?
Lasagna is a versatile dish and you can pretty much add your favorite meats, veggies or toppings just like many pasta dish. Here are some examples:
Vegetables: Sautéed or roasted vegetables like mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, and spinach can add flavor and texture to lasagna.
Meat: Ground beef, Italian sausage, and shredded chicken are popular options for meat lovers.
Cheese: Mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan cheese are commonly used in lasagna. You can also try adding other types of cheese like cheddar, provolone, or feta for a different flavor profile.
Herbs and spices: Basil, oregano, thyme, and garlic are classic Italian herbs that can enhance the flavor of lasagna. Red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt are some spices that can be added for a bit of kick.
Sauces: Tomato sauce and Alfredo sauce are traditional choices, but you can also experiment with other types of sauces like pesto or béchamel for a different taste.
Since this lasagna uses ramen noodles you could also enhance the Asian flavors by adding drizzles of Sriracha or Sichuan Chili Crisp sauce for added heat. You could also experiment by adding Asian veggies like chopped Bok Choy or Thai Basil. Ginger and garlic would add nice aromatics. A spoonful of miso paste would add some tasty umami flavors.
Do you use the ramen seasonings?
We did not use the ramen seasonings included. First, they tend to be quite salty and overly seasoned with preservatives. If you want an extra kick to your ramen lasagna we recommend using fresh or dried herbs and spices.

What does ramen lasagna taste like?
We kept the recipe pretty basic as in the original TikTok video to try it out unaltered. The dish is simple to make and tastes delicious as you would expect any starchy tomato sauce, cheesy dishes to taste! Now that we’ve conquered the simple recipe, next time we’ll be flavor bombing it with the added suggestions above. I would love this with more veggies and some protein to round it out!
