Find out how to make Hailey Bieber’s viral TikTok Pizza Toast, a yummy and easy pizza on sourdough bread topped with marinara and burrata cheese.
Another TikTok trending recipe for us all to try. First it was the viral TikTok Mac and Cheese Baked Pasta, then Salmon Rice, and now Hailey Bieber’s Pizza Toast. We absolutely had to make this delicious sounding pizza toast!
Three words. Easy and Flavorful. With over 2.5 million views in less than a week after sharing, Hailey Bieber posted a video on her TikTok of how to make her easy Pizza Toast. It looks so delicious, we decided to make it for ourselves. It did not disappoint and was absolutely as yummy as it looks.
How do you make TikTok Pizza Toast?
You’ll first need to preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Butter both sides of each piece of sourdough bread and drizzle truffle oil on each slice.
On the stovetop, on medium heat, toast both sides of each slice until golden brown. While the bread is toasting, slice your tomatoes.
In a bowl, dress the tomatoes with olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Set aside.
Remove tge sourdough bread from heat after golden brown and top each slice with burrata cheese. Top with your sliced tomato. Drizzle a little more truffle oil on the top. Bake it in the oven until the burrata cheese is melted, about 12-15 minutes.
While the pizza toast is in the oven, warm the marinara sauce in a small pan on the stovetop.
After the burrata cheese has melted, remove from the oven and top with a spoonful or two of warm marinara sauce, a sprinkle of oregano, pinch of red pepper flakes, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Can I make any substitutes to this pizza bread recipe?
Although I highly recommend using sourdough bread for this recipe, you could substitute another bread, one that has a similar texture as sourdough, allowing it to toast well and a good base for the other ingredients.
Ciabatta and Italian loaf have similar texture and density to sourdough and could be easily substituted in this recipe. Ghee or olive oil could also be used instead of butter.
I didn’t have truffle oil on hand so used olive oil instead. I didn’t feel the need to buy it just for this recipe. If you have it on hand, go ahead and use the truffle oil instead.
What is Burrata cheese?
Although similar to mozzarella, burrata is a solid cheese outer casing, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it a cottage cheese, soft texture. It melts very well while in the oven for this recipe. Fresh mozzarella cheese would also be an easy substitution.

Sliced Sourdough Bread
Butter
Truffle Oil
Burrata Cheese
Sliced Tomatoes

Oregano
Red Pepper Flakes
Note: We used a flat cast iron pan to both toast each slice on the stovetop and since it’s oven safe, also to melt the cheese in the oven, never having to transfer it or use another pan.
