Twisted bacon is an easy recipe that can really be served as a side or as a snack by itself. Although people have been quick to put their spin on this trend, the basic recipe is simple to make and uses only one ingredient, bacon! Unlike the traditional way of making bacon (in a pan), twisted bacon is hands-off and requires minimal clean-up!

How to Make Twisted Bacon?
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking tray with foil. Take singular strips of the bacon of your choice and twist upward creating a spiral-like rod.
Once completely twisted, gently lay your bacon twists on the pan. Continue these steps until all the bacon is twisted and lined up side-by-side on the pan. Place the tray in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time.
TIP: If you want to remove excess grease from the twists, remove the cooked bacon from the tray and place it on paper towels to absorb the excess.

The original TikTok trend used regular (pork) bacon, but turkey bacon can be substituted depending on your taste or health preference.
