It doesn’t get any easier for a tasty summer treat than this two ingredient watermelon ice cream recipe!

Watermelon is one of our favorite summer fruits. As Harry Styles would sing, watermelon sugar high, watermelon sugar high, watermelon sugar. As soon as you and the kids taste this ice cream, you’ll be singing right along with the famous music artist!

We all crave fresh fruit and ice cream when the weather turns hot and it’s officially the summer season. We couldn’t resist making this very easy summer treat since it’s also watermelon season. We’ve made 2 ingredient peach sherbet in the past and it did not disappoint!

It tastes light and refreshing but has a touch of creaminess from the condensed milk that makes it taste more like a sherbet than sorbet.

Are there other fruits you can use instead of watermelon?

Absolutely! This time of year all of the best fresh fruits are in season. Peaches, strawberries, raspberries, any berry blend, pineapple, mango, kiwi, or even a tropical blend of fruits would be delicious.

This recipe is the perfect amount of sweetness provided by the sweetened condensed milk and depending on the fruit you choose, it could be a little sweeter or even offset by the sourness of pineapple. Either way, it’s guaranteed to be delicious and sweet!

What do you need to make this easy Watermelon Ice Cream?

All you’ll need is a seedless watermelon and a can of sweetened condensed milk. You’ll also need a 9×5 glass dish or ice cream pan and a high speed blender for pureeing the watermelon and blending the two ingredients. We used a Ninja but you can also use a VitaMix if you have one or a similar high-powered blener.

Watermelon Ice Cream – Ingredients:
