What else could you use for the Easter bunny tail?

Mini marshmallows are perfect but you can easily use anything that is white and round. White jelly beans would work great, or even a white spree to put right in the center! If you’re in a pinch, anything round of any color will work so don’t stress out about it too bad.

Do you need a cookie cutter for this recipe?

A cookie cutter isn’t a deal-breaker for making these sugar cookies but it can be helpful. If you’re able to shape the feet and body of the bunny, that’s all you really have to do. And since they’re circle shapes, you can easily handle it without a cookie cutter.

How To Make Bunny Butt Cookies

Roll out a small amount of cookie dough, cut out small circles, and bake for 5-7 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown. Depending on the dough used baking times might need to be adjusted.

To assemble the cookies frost the big cookies and then place them on the feet. I suggest icing those first so that they are easier to ice.

Add the sprinkles and serve.

How to store cookies

Once the cookies are cooled down and ready to store, add them in a single layer to an airtight container. Don’t stack the cookies or this may cause them to smear or break apart.
