Watch the video in this post to make this cute summer snack food art for kids
This cute Fish Fruit Food Art makes a fun “under the sea” summer snack for kids. They will love “fishing” for a yummy snack!
We’re saying good-bye to summer and hello to school with this fun and fruity Fish Fruit Food Art. This is an easy summer snack you can make especially with bits of leftover fruit! You can make any size fruit fish you’d like.
You can eat it off the platter as a fruit snack which we did. My kids also loaded the fruit in a glass with ice cubes and seltzer water to make delicious, bubbly fruit water!
What kind of fruits can I use for this fruit fish snack?
You can use any kind that you can easily cut into a circle for the body. We used kiwi, strawberries, lemon, lime, oranges, and apples. But melon like watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew would be cute too! I would focus on your kids’ favorite fruits as a start.
This is also a great food craft to get the kid involved in! Have them up at the kitchen counter using a kid safe knife to cut softer fruits. Bet they will also like adding the candy googly eyes!
