This Caprese Pasta Salad is made with just 5 easy ingredients. A simple and hearty summer salad the family will love!

Everyone loves an easy pasta salad recipe and this one is full of flavor. If you’re a fan of Caprese salad like I am, this simple pasta salad recipe is going to be at the top of your list.

What I really love about this salad recipe is that it’s one that the kids can join in and help out with. Not only do they love helping to measure out all the ingredients but they love to help stir as well.

I’ll always let the kids help out in the kitchen. It’s one of my favorite ways to bond.

How long does this pasta salad need to marinate in the fridge?

I recommend letting it chill in the fridge for at least an hour once it’s made. But if you can do longer, do so. The longer it has time to chill, the more flavor it’s going to have.

Can you add other ingredients to this pasta recipe?

You can but it won’t be exactly like a Caprese salad at that point. If you’re okay with that, then add away! Bacon bits are always fun, as are black olives, too.

Caprese Pasta Salad – Ingredients

Tips for Making Caprese Pasta Salad

Even though this is a simple recipe, there are a few tips to keep in mind.

Make certain that you add salt to the pasta when you’re boiling it. This helps it not stick together!

I actually like to add the balsamic vinegar before I put it into the fridge to really enhance the flavor. Some people wait and add it right before they’re going to serve it. You can do either.

As you can see, making this Caprese Salad recipe is never a bad idea. Just make certain that you’re handing the part of the recipe where you have to boil water and add noodles. You don’t want the kids to attempt to do this part at all!

Once you’re done with the recipe, everyone is going to love gathering around the table and enjoying every single bite. It’s so much fun to cook a delicious dish and enjoy the taste and flavor.
