If your kids love pizza they will delight in making this adorable mini Christmas Tree Pizza. A fun Christmas food for lunch or dinner.
My kids could eat pizza for breakfast, lunch or dinner if I let them! This cute Christmas Tree Pizza is a festive Christmas dinner for kids. You could easily save leftovers for lunch the next day or serve it in their lunchbox in the days leading up to the holidays for a fun surprise Christmas treat!
We love making mini-sized pizzas like muffin tin pizza or handheld mini pizza pies. This adorable pizza tree is a super easy recipe kids can also help make in the kitchen for a Christmas treat!
What do you need to make Christmas Tree Pizza?
You will need a tree cookie cutter, we used a standard cookie-cutter size. You will also need pizza dough, pizza sauce, mini pepperoni, and cheese.
Of course you can add festive “ornaments” or tiny diced veggies like green and red bell peppers. You can add onions, olives or any other toppings your kids love.
What kind of pizza dough can I use?
We used pizza dough store-bought and ready-to-bake that you can find in most markets these days. You can also make Naan bread pizza or use ready-baked crust you can cut out. Or refrigerated pizza dough like Pillsbury has worked just fine in the past too! Pizza toast is also an option if you can’t get a hold of crust. If you love making pizza fully from scratch you can also make your own homemade dough.
