These Nutter Butter Leprechaun Treats are a fast and easy no-bake dessert that is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!

This is one of our favorite St. Patrick’s Day treats to make. Not only is it a super simple recipe but the kids love being able to join in and decorate as well. Using nutter butter cookies is such a fun idea because they’re the perfect shape and size to create with!

We like to tie these in with our Rainbow Fruit Cones to add some healthy to our sweets as well. Plus, everyone knows that there should always be some sort of rainbow tied in during St. Patrick’s day!

How long does it take for the frosting to harden on the cookies?

Typically, just about 10-15 minutes of time but it really does depend on how thick you add it and make it. If you put it on really thick, it’s going to take a lot more time to harden.

How do you store these cookies once they’re decorated?

After the frosting has hardened up, you’re going to want to store these cookies in an airtight container. Keep in mind though that you don’t want to stack these cookies on top of each other while they’re stored or they’ll get messy and the decorations will get messed up.

What are fun ways to share these St. Patrick’s Day treats?

This is where the fun happens! You can easily share these treats with all your family and friends. The kids and I love to make these treats put a few in a cute box and deliver them to the neighbors as well.

I also think that these would be super cute for class parties or as a great way to decorate cookies together in the kitchen together as well.

Can you add other toppings to these Nutter Butter Leprechaun Treats?

You can! Let the kids have fun and decorate some as they want. Coloring coconut shreds orange and applying it with frosting would also be a super cute way to make a beard as well!
