How to Make Whipped Lemonade: The Latest Summer TikTok Trend

Move over Dalgona coffee, as the weather heats up, so does social media. TikTok has been a hot spot for summer trends from Pop It Chocolate to Mustard Watermelon and if you’re not already on there, then it’s time to start! One trend that’s been blowing up lately is whipped lemonade. The drink takes just seconds to make, but still gives off an air of sophistication with its light and fluffy foam topping. Here are all of the steps in order to whip your own perfect glass of this trendy lemonade beverage!

How do you make whipped lemonade?

This sherbert looking drink is super easy to create with just lemonade mix (use your favorite, we used Country Time), some water, and heavy cream that you whip up into a foamy delicious topping for your lemonade! Add ice to make it a refreshing summer drink! My kids love lemonade and were all over this new creative way to enjoy it. Keep in mind you will need either a hand mixer, stand mixer or milk frother (which is what we used) to whip the heavy cream. The handheld aerator makes it super easy to whip up drinks in seconds!

Whipped Lemonade RecipeYou can take this lemonade drink up a notch by making it into a dessert and adding condensed milk or even a small scoop of vanilla ice cream to add more creaminess! Try different flavors of lemonade mixes like pink or use any powdered drink mixes like Kool-Aid! Feel free to add more natural sweeteners like honey or club soda or sparkling beverages to make your whipped lemonade a bit more bubbly!

Want some fruit in your drink? Try adding strawberries or raspberries for an extra refreshing treat that will be sure to beat those hot summer days we’re still experiencing.

What does whipped lemonade taste like?

The cream on top tastes just liked whipped cream and that’s because it is! When you whip heavy cream the aerated fat turns into whipped cream. It’s flavored in this case from the powdered lemonade mix, but once you mix it with the water and ice, you get nice light and creamy drink consistency.

Whipped Lemonade – Ingredients:

1 TBSP lemonade mix (we used Country Time) add more if you want more lemonade flavor

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 to 3/4 cup water (depends on how much sweet you want it)
