This Melted Snowman Chocolate Bark is an adorable Christmas Treat the kids will love making to celebrate the festive holiday season!
The holiday season is all about indulging in cute Christmas treats! We love making chocolate bark and this Melted Snowman Chocolate Bark is one holiday food tradition we make each year with the kids! This time we did a twist by making individual bark and used cookie chocolate wafers for the arms! Traditionally they are made with pretzels. and in one pan. The individual size ensures everyone gets their own melted snowman – yum!
How do you make melted snowman bark?
You’ll first melt white chocolate wafers chocolate and then spoon them into oval shapes on a parchment-lined baking pan. The next step is to add candy for eyes and buttons and wafers for the arms. Don’t forget the peanut butter hat! The pan goes into the refrigerator to set for about 1o minutes upon which you can easily release them from the pan.
What are some variations on this snowman treat?
You can use dark chocolate if you want or prefer the taste to white chocolate. Instead of wafers, use pretzel sticks for arms which will cut down on the sweetness.
Instead of chocolate you can also use Greek yogurt! We’ve made frozen yogurt bark this way and it’s a much healthier option. This way you can decorate the buttons with a fruit – pomegranate seeds would be cute! You can also make a hat out of sliced mango.
