This Charcuterie Bouquet is the perfect treat for Mother’s Day or any special occasion. No cooking or baking required and full of fun snacks!

I love a good charcuterie board. There are just so many fun meats and cheeses that are on there that are too good to pass up. Since they’re all the rage right now for adults, I figured it was a fun snack to make for the kids, too! Plus, when you have something that is this fun to make, it’s great to have the kids join in and help!

The great thing about making a recipe like this is that it’s perfect for so many things. It’s an excellent appetizer or a healthy snack option for the kids and it’s for sure super fun for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or a fun birthday treat as well.

Can you add sweets to a charcuterie board?

You bet. While most boards are more savory than sweet, you can easily create them how you’d like. Some people add chocolates or candies as a fun option and it’s never a bad idea to have tasty treats close by. I like to use fresh fruit as it pairs so well with the salt meats and cheeses.

How To Make a Charcuterie Board

Place a bundle of breadsticks at  the center bottom of the serving board

Lay fresh rosemary sprigs in the center of the bundle and tie together with a ribbon

Next make the salami roses by folding the salami around the rim of a tall thin glass in layers, carefully remove the rose and place it at the top of the breadstick stem bundle

Repeat this process until you have 3-4 centerpiece roses

To make cheese roses roll one cheese half tightly then rolls a second half around it – your can place these in the center of each salami rose or randomly along the board

The rest of the bouquet is completely up to your preference

Place remaining ingredients around the flower centerpiece

Additional flowers can be made with strawberry centers and pineapple chunk petals, olive centers, and cheese cube petals, etc.

Prosciutto should be rolled tightly and placed randomly along the board

Nut mix and chocolate mints can be placed along the outside edges

Have fun, be creative, and enjoy! \

Can you make a Charcuterie Bouquet in advance?

You bet! It’s a good idea too! Just add everything that you want and keep it covered in an airtight container in the fridge. When it’s time to serve, take out and enjoy. Keep in minds the crackers may end up getting a bit soggy as they come to room temperature so if you want to leave room for them and add them after you remove from the fridge that will be better.

What are some other foods that you can add to a charcuterie board?

Chocolates, dried fruits, pickles – you name it! Anything that you’re craving can easily be added! I let the kids pick out some food items too and will add animal crackers and goldfish sometimes as well. They have certain foods that they like and I don’t see the issue with adding them as well. These boards are meant to be for everyone to enjoy.
