This Easy Pasta Sticks Recipe is a fun way to eat pasta and the perfect hand-held lunch or dinner! Simply thread your favorite pasta on a stick and top with your favorite pasta toppings!
Easy pasta recipes are one of our favorite go-to’s for simple dinners and this easy Pasta Sticks Recipes is a current favorite! What we love about this TikTok inspired pasta recipe is the endless customization of making your own pasta! Kids will love building their own pasta sticks and topping with their favorite toppings! It’s kind of like pizza on a stick…which is another really fun dinner idea by the way!
How do you make Pasta On a Stick?
First pick a pasta that is easy to thread. We used Penne pasta which has a consistent tube shape and is easy to thread. Obviously stay away from stringy pasta like spaghetti or fettuccine. Next you will want to add all your favorite toppings in small bowls. We went with a classic pizza flavor because my kids love nothing more than pizza! We used tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives.
What other toppings can you add on this easy pasta stick recipe?
I would think of your favorite pizza or pasta toppings and go from there!
You can do BBQ Chicken for example and brush with BBQ sauce, topped with red onions, shredded chicken, cheese and green onions.
A vegetarian primavera would be great with cheese, red sauce and chopped roasted veggies like zucchini and tomatoes.
You can also do a creamy version by lathering on your favorite cream sauce and adding parmesan cheese, shredded chicken and cracked black pepper.
As we mentioned, this recipe is super versatile so just go with your favorite pasta or pizza ingredients and you can’t go wrong!
