Make playful Nutter Butter Sandal Cookies and add fun to your summer parties with these delightful summer treats.
Summer is here and it’s officially sandal season! Today, we’re making an incredibly fun and delectably cute summer treat that’s guaranteed to be a hit with both kids and adults alike – Nutter Butter Sandal Cookies!
As the name suggests, we’re going turn classic Nutter Butter cookies into adorable little sandals, made even cuter by lying on a bed of graham cracker sand. This creative snack is a cute craft food to make with your kiddos!
These would also be tasty and the hit at any dessert table for a summer party, beach bon voyage or baby shower.
How do you make Flip Flop Cookies?
There’s no easier dessert than these cute flip-flop cookies! All you need is to open up a package of Nutter Butter cookies and lay out some cookie icing and beach sprinkles. If you have regular sprinkles like colorful balls, that would work too!
To make this beachy dessert even more authentic crush some graham crackers into “sand” to lay on a platter or plate. Then simply pipe a sandal strap and add a sprinkle in the center to finalize this cute edible summer accessory.

Can I use other cookies?
Sure you can get a sandal cookie cutter and make roll-out sugar cookies with them instead. of using Nutter Butters. This would be best if you have a peanut allergy or don’t like nuts in your cookies.
Do I have to use cookie icing?
We like cookie icing because it rolls hard. You can make your own royal fondant icing or use store-bought brands like these that dry hard.
