It’s a new year and we are on dedicated to making healthier eating choices! We love taking traditional favorites and seeing how we can make them more nutritious like this healthy banana split.
Fruit, yogurt and granola snacks are a big favorite among the kids and so this healthier banana snack was a huge hit! Plus the assembly is super easy and fun for kids to pile on all their favorite toppings and fruit!

What can you add in your healthy banana split?
We added vanilla Greek yogurt for its thick consistency as it’s closest to ice cream. But you can add any flavored or types of yogurt you want. We love adding a rainbow fruit assortment it just makes any snack prettier! So we added diced strawberries, mangos, kiwi, and blueberries to our banana split. We add granola for crunch and texture. And a drizzle of honey for natural sweetness.
Here are some topping ideas for banana splits:
various chopped nuts
sunflower seeds or other seeds like flaxseed, chia, pumpkin
mini candies or chocolates
Avocado (you’d be surprised how well they pair with bananas and other fruits!)

Healthy Banana Split
- strawberries diced
- mango diced
- kiwi diced
- blueberries diced
- bananas sliced lengthwise
- Greek yogurt
- Place your sliced banana on a plate overlapping them slightly in the form of a locked "O."
- Place scoop of yogurt on top of each sliced banana.
- Top with the diced fruit.
- Top with granola.
- Drizzle with honey.
