Turn a simple can of store-bought cinnamon rolls into the cutest ghosts and pumpkins for your Halloween morning!
If you're looking for a fun and spooky Halloween snack, you've found the perfect trick (and treat!). These adorable Halloween cinnamon rolls are completely foolproof because they start with a standard tube of canned cinnamon rolls. No homemade dough required, just a little creativity with the shaping and the icing!

Halloween Cinnamon Rolls - Ingredients
- 1 can (8-count) of store-bought cinnamon rolls: Make sure you get the standard "roll" kind that you can uncoil, not the pre-cut biscuit style.
- The icing that comes inside the can.
- Food coloring: Orange and green.
- Mini chocolate chips: For the ghost faces.

Instructions
- Prep the Pan: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your cinnamon roll package and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the Pumpkins: Take a cinnamon roll and gently unroll the very end of the coil. Tuck that loose piece upward and press it slightly into the top of the roll to form a little "stem".

- Shape the Ghosts: For the ghosts, unroll the outer edge of the cinnamon roll and let it drape loosely downward to create a wavy, ghost-like shape. You can gently pinch the top sides of the main roll to form a slightly rounder "head".
- Bake: Place your shaped rolls onto the parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving enough room between them to expand. Bake according to the package directions until golden brown.
- Mix the Icing: While they bake, divide the provided icing into three small bowls. Dye one bowl orange for the pumpkins, dye a tiny amount green for the stems, and leave the rest white for the ghosts.

- Decorate: Once the rolls have cooled slightly, spread the orange icing over the pumpkin shapes and use a spatula or knife to add a dab of green icing to the stems. Spread the white icing over the ghost shapes and press three mini chocolate chips into the icing to make spooky eyes and a mouth!

Pro Tip: Frost the rolls while they are still just a little bit warm. This allows the icing to melt slightly into a smooth, shiny glaze, giving your pumpkins and ghosts a perfect glazed finish.

Final Thoughts
These spooky cute cinnamon rolls are a super fun Halloween treat to make with kids! Since there’s no dough to make from scratch, little hands can jump right in to help shape the ghosts and add the chocolate chip faces for a spooky and sweet breakfast.
